Engage in a conversation without words - through movement, presence & play

$120 per couple

In this 2-hour workshop we will explore tools of receptivity and sensitivity to cultivate a deeper connection to one another. Through guided partner movement, yoga postures, sensory exercises and floor-based bodywork therapy, each partner will have the opportunity to give and receive in an intentional exchange. You will both experience and learn a sequence of Zen Thai gestures that you can take home with you to practice on one another with confidence and ease.

  • All levels welcome - you do not need any previous experience in yoga or massage to join

  • Wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes, preferably long pants and shirt. Please bring layers (givers will get warm/receivers will get cool).

  • Bring 1x yoga mat each, and 1x pillow to share

  • You will receive a video of the workshop sequence. No note taking necessary - this is an experiential workshop.

  • This workshop is for partners of all kinds, please feel free to bring a friend, family member or romantic partner


What is Zen Thai Shiatsu?

Zenthai shiatsu is a bodywork therapy drawing on the traditional energetic based systems of Zen Shiatsu, Traditional Thai Massage and the remediation techniques of Osteopathy. We help the receiver relax into the parasympathetic nervous system so stagnant energy held in the body can release naturally. This is a holistic practice designed to bring the body, mind, and spirit back to balance, and is a perfect compliment to both active lifestyles, and to lifestyles where one does not get enough movement.
